Our founder David McLorinan is one of Northern Ireland’s leading Hydrogeologists, having been involved in developing and sustaining public drinking water supplies from groundwater for NI Water, such as the system on Rathlin Island, and finding water for some of the larger bottled water producers in Northern Ireland. In addition to this, he has developed some of the most significant private water supplies that exist for industry (Diagio, Citi Bank/NISP), universities (QUB) and the National Health Service (BHSCT, Belfast City Hospital).

Groundwater control is one of our specialities, where ingresses of groundwater impede underground development. David has been involved in many of the major basement development schemes in Ireland, including Victoria Square, Obel Tower, Invest NI Headquarters and Dublin Library.

As well as this David has been instrumental in promoting technologies such as Energy from Groundwater (sometimes referred to as ‘Geothermal Energy’) having seen to completion a number of such schemes for the public and private sectors.
